Top Leaders Under 40 includes 3 Prince William Cty Awardees

Virginia Leadership Institute (VLI) will honor 10 outstanding Black leaders from across Virginia who have made a significant impact on their communities. This event brings together supporters of Black political and community leadership initiatives in the Commonwealth of Virginia to network and share information on increasing diversity in elected and appointed offices, community leadership, campaign operations, and political fundraising.

VLI’s 2014 Top Leaders Under 40 include three awardees from Prince William County: Delegate Michael Futrell, VA House of Delegates (2nd District); Ramunda Young, Prince William County Human Rights Commission; Kisha Wilson Sogunro, Neighborhood Services Manager (City of Manassas). The reception will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Army Navy Country Club (1700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA). Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online at www.virginialead.org.
