NOVA Adult Career Pathways - College Access Workshop

Join staff from Northern Virginia Community College's Adult Career Pathways (ACP) program to learn more about what we do, receive assistance applying to NOVA and for Federal Financial Aid, and apply to our program if you wish to do so.

ACP is a FREE counseling-based service offered to adult, NOVA students seeking a credential. Each students in our program is paired up with an academic advisor or counselor that assists them with; selecting a program of study, applying for aid, registering for classes, troubleshooting academic issues, referrals to NOVA and external academic resources, applying for graduation, transfer to a four year institution, and much more.

During the College Access Workshop, ACP staff will:

  • Provide an overview of our program and answer questions.
  • Assist participants with applying to NOVA.
  • Walk attendees through the Federal Financial Aid application.
  • Give participants placement testing information.
  • Students may apply to our program.
