NOVA 5K Hustle2Health

On Sunday, October 6, 2013, Northern Virginia Community College will host a 5k run and community expo.  This event, NOVA 5k Hustle 2 Health, will benefit the Educational Foundation and provide scholarships for students at NOVA. This event will attract over 700 runners, aspiring runners and families with children who reside in the Washington metropolitan area. The annual NOVA 5K Hustle 2 Health 5K Run and Community Expo events will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will take place at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) Woodbridge Campus, located at 15200 Neabsco Mills Road in Woodbridge, Virginia.
The day’s festivities kick off with a competitive 5K run at 8:00 a.m., and a family-friendly 1-mile Fun Walk. An awards ceremony, expo, mobile health services/screenings, and kid’s zone will also be featured.
This year’s event is sponsored by Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Wegmans, and Sport & Health, plus many other local businesses.
