Will We See Weekend Snow?
Forecasts calling for a possibility of light snow on Saturday.
With a rare October snowstorm headed up the East Coast, will Dale City see snow before Halloween?
Weather forecasts for the weekend call for nearly a 100 percent chance of precipitation on Saturday, with the possibility of snow in the afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service forecast for the Dale City area says little to no snow accumulation is likely.
Other areas, however, could see significant accumulation. The NWS says 4 to 8 inches of snow are possible from the higher parts of Virginia and West Virginia through eastern Pennsylvania and into southern New England. The area from northern Maryland through New Jersey could see as much as 8 to 10 inches of snow.
