WEATHER ALERT: Tornado Warning Issued
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for an area that includes Dale City.
The National Weather Service in Sterling has issued a tornado warning for Prince William County as well as the city of Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania County, Stafford County and Fairfax County until 7:15 p.m.
Locations impacted include Dale City along with Woodbridge, Montclair, Dumfries, and Triangle.
NWS reported that at 6:44 p.m. Doppler Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado seven miles southwest of Stafford, moving northeast at 55 miles per hour.

Everyone in the area should take immediate cover. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and avoid windows. If outdoors or in a mobile home or vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
There are also multiple severe thunderstorm warnings for Prince William County going through 8:00 p.m. Stay indoors and away from windows.
