Wartime Museum Open House This Weekend

The American Wartime Museum to be built in Dale City will have an open house event on Saturday and Sunday.

Vintage military vehicles, demonstrations and reenactors will give visitors at the American Wartime Museum's open house this weekend a sneak peek at the programs planned for the museum when it opens in November 2014.

The open house will be held at museum Chairman Allen Cors' "Tank Farm" in Nokesville on Saturday and Sunday. More than 5,000 people attended the event last year. Visit the museum's YouTube channel to see videos of last year's event and the Oral History Project, chronicling veterans' stories in their own words.

Those wishing to go to the open house should RSVP on the museum's website. The Tank Farm is located at 13906 Aden Road in Nokesville.
