Frigid February 5K Walk/Run March 1!

The Optimist Club of Occoquan-Woodbridge-Neabsco will be holding its rescheduled "Frigid February" 5K Run/Walk on --- wait for it --- Saturday, March 1! That's right! The unlikely juxtaposition of calling the event the "Frigid February 5K" and holding it on March 1 has made the event even more unique than it already was!

This is a fun event for a good cause. Our 5K course is challenging, but enjoyable, winding through various parts of Occoquan, including most of the historic district. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. and the cost of advance registration is only $25 ($30 the day of the event). Net proceeds will go to support students in disadvantaged local public schools.
