Weekend Planner: Halloween Edition

Check out some Halloween-related events this weekend.

At Potomac Community Library, at 2 p.m. on Saturday look for a celebration of Halloween with double-the-spooky-fun featuring "Magic by Geo."

"Follow costumed guides by lantern light through the streets of Old Town Manassas, hear weird, sublime and strange happenings from the past and present, and meet some spirited characters along the way during The Manassas Museum’s Spirits of Manassas Walking Tours on Oct. 26 and 27," said an announcement from the museum.

Tours will begin at the museum at 7, 7:30, and 8 p.m., on Saturday (depending on the weather, of course). The tours last approximately 45 minutes, and are appropriate for all ages. The cost is $15 per person and $7.50 for those 12 and under.

The First Annual Boo Ball at the Harris Pavilion is Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $50. 

"This promises to be a fun evening of food, music by the band Type A, cash bar, and prizes. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will directly benefit the kids in our community," said an event posting on Patch.

At St. Paul United Methodist Church, there will be a Fall Frenzy Saturday at 2 p.m. There will be a moon bounce, crafts, harvest games, face painting and more. The event is free to the public.
