Why Go: On Feb. 17 11, Alice Everette was tragically shot and killed at the local Chick-fil-A. In an effort to help the family, all proceeds from the yard sale will benefit Alice’s children.

Where/When: Jefferson Davis Hwy & Prince William Pkwy, Saturday April 30, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Why Go: Come help clean the Route 1 Corridor. Prince William County’s portion of the cleanup (thirteen miles) is being coordinated by Prince William Clean Community Council an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc. PWC’s boundaries will begin at Route 1 and Annapolis Way and end at Route 1 & Joplin Road (Entrance to Quantico Marine Base). Volunteers and sponsors are needed to help with the cleanup and provide refreshments. Where/When: 1 County Complex Ct, Woodbridge, Saturday April 30, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Why Go: A day of family fun celebrating local arts and featuring local performing and visual arts organizations. There will be live performances on two stages as well as classes, demonstrations, and children activities.  Food vendors will also be available.  Bring your blanket or your lawn chairs and lounge on the lawn.

Pricing: Free.

 Where/When: Gar-Field Senior High School, 14000 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, Sunday May 1, 3:00 p.m.

Why Go: Youth Orchestras of Prince William present their final concert of the season for all of the ensembles at Gar-Field High School. Come hear local student musicians.

Pricing: $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors.

Where/When: , 14349 Gideon Dr, Woodbridge, Sunday May 1, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Come get some baked goods and help make a difference in the lives of hungry kids across the country. Share Our Strength’s Great American Bake Sale, presented by Domino Sugar, C&H Sugar, and Duncan Hines, is a national campaign that mobilizes Americans to end childhood hunger by holding bake sales in their communities.
