The Great Escape: Summer Sun

Take an afternoon off at the waterpark.

Want the afternoon off? Embrace your inner child and enjoy a kid-free afternoon at  at . Drop the kids off at a babysitter’s (or Grandma’s) and head to the park that includes slides, challenge courses and more. Best of all, enjoy the 48 inches or over rides without worrying if the kids are hungry. So find your favorite someone, swimsuit, sunblock, and welcome the summer sun while enjoying a few hours away.

WaterWorks  is open weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting May 28 until June 17, when it is open every day throughout the summer. Admission is $7 for those 48 inches and above, with discounts available for seniors and military. After 4 p.m. admission is $5.50. Season passes are on sale, with discounts for families. Food, lockers, and chairs are available.
