The Great Escape: Spring Into Fashion

Freshen your spring wardrobe.

Spring is just around the corner, which means warmer weather and new fashions! Freshen your spring wardrobe with a shopping consultation at your favorite retail store. Brick and mortar shops often have a fashion expert who can help you decide what works with your body type, preference, and budget. Simply set up an appointment and let them do the work! Stores with this service include J.Crew, Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Bloomindale’s. Be prepared with a dollar amount that you are willing to spend and stick with it to avoid pressure.

Not able to make it to a store for a consultation? Use fashion blogs to get inspiration and shopping guidance for your wardrobe. Street fashion blogs such as  The Sartorialist offer high-end inspiration, while sites such as youlookfab.com offer everyday looks and assistance. You Look Fab also has a forum where you can post daily “What I Wore” posts to get further feedback. Photo sites such as wardroberemix on flickr allows you to see how people are wearing “remixes” of clothing in different ways.
