Spring is just around the corner, so check out some books from Dale City Neighborhood Library and find a good spot outside to read with the whole family this weekend.

• Join the weight training class for parents and their children 10 years old and up at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center on Mondays, and Wednesdays at 7 p.m., and Saturdays at 11 a.m.

• Attend Neabsco Elementary School’s multicultural night on March 16 from 6-8 p.m.

• Attend Bingo night at the OWL Volunteer Fire Department on Wednesday, March 16 or Saturday, March 19 at 5:15 p.m.

• Meet Iditarod dog musher, Karen Land, and her dog, Borage at the Chinn Park Regional Library in Woodbridge on March 20 at 3 p.m.
