It might rain this weekend so it will be perfect weather to hang out at the library and check out a good sale. So stop by the Potomac Community Library in Woodbridge and find some books at a great price at the library’s Book Sale on Friday, March 4 and Saturday, 5 from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 6 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Hardback books will sell for $1 and paperback will sell for 50 cents.
- Join the weight training class for parents and their children 10 years old and up at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center on Mondays, and Wednesdays at 7 p.m., and Saturdays at 11 a.m.
- Check out the Too Human musical performance by Ellen Schwartz and Roger Bruno at Chinn Park Regional Library on March 6 at 2 p.m. Registration is required for this event.
- Support the Youth Orchestras of Prince William County as the Wind Symphony and Youth Symphony Orchestras perform at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas on March 6 at 3 p.m. Tickets for adults are $15, for students and seniors are $10, and children under 6 are free. Attendees are also encouraged to bring food items to donate to the ACTS food pantry.
- Cheer on the Prince William Hockey Club’s teams as they take on teams from the area as well as other states. Check out the club’s website for the schedule of games.
- Attend Bingo Night at the OWL Volunteer Fire Department in Woodbridge on Wednesday, March 2 and Saturday, March 5 at 5:15 p.m.
- Support your favorite contestants for Mr. Hylton at the Mr. Hylton Talent Show at C.D. Hylton High School on March 5 at 7 p.m.
- Begin training for a triathlon as a family at the Triathlon Training class at Dale City Recreation on Sunday, March 6 at 7 a.m.
- Mothers, take your daughters to Dale City Recreation and take the Self Defense for Women class on Sunday, March 6 at 12 p.m.
