A reader said he saw fences going up around the proposed location while waiting in a slug line Thursday morning. Two additional stores, The Christmas Tree Shops and buybuy Baby will open in the mall. In Fredericksburg, the same two shops have submitted plans to take up residence in a vacant Shoppers Food and Pharmacy building in Central Park. Art on the Block Highlights Local Talent

Four galleries hosted open houses during Occoquan's Art on the Block event on May 12.

The May 12 event was the collaborative effort of four galleries located on the 300 block of Mill Street: Kelly’s Artbox, Artists’ Undertaking Gallery, The Loft Gallery, and Art a La Carte. Vision for Vacancies: Dillingham Square

What should go in this vacant Lake Ridge building?

In our last Vision for Vacancies, we asked what you thought should go in the former Woodbridge Bloom location. With such a sizeable pad site, suggestions leaned towards an indoor skating facility for all ages. What about this location? It's in Lake Ridge's Dillingham Square across the street from Blockbuster video store, and next to Palm Beach Tan. It used to be the site of Burke Electronics, before the locally-owned business moved to the County Center area off of Marblestone Drive. So, what do you think should go in this building? Take our Patch poll and tell us in the comments!
