Woodbridge Man Charged With Strangulation

Jose Medrano, 45, of Woodbridge, was charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.

 

Prince William County Police has charged a Woodbridge man in relation to a December assault. 

Jose Medrano, 45, of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge, was charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery. The victim reported minor injuries.

A 29-year-old Woodbridge woman reported Dec. 26 at 5:14 p.m. that she and Medrano were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated, according to a press release.

"During the encounter, the accused assaulted and strangled the victim," said Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department. "Following the altercation, the accused fled the residence." 

Police were unable to find Medrano until he was arrested Dec. 31. He was being held without bond at the time of the press release.

What kind of rap sheet does he have. Turn him over to the feds for free trip back across the reo grand where that kind of thing is not a crime.
