Woodbridge Man Charged With Brandishing a Weapon

No one was injured, according to the Prince William County Police.

A Woodbridge man was charged with brandishing a weapon after another man told police that he had been threatened with a handgun, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Louis Alfred Wilkins, 55, was arrested Feb. 18. His court date is unavailable, and he was held on a $2,000 secured bond.

Police responded to Featherstone Road on Feb. 18 at 4:40 p.m. for the report of a brandishing.

"The victim, a 30-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated," Perok said. "During the encounter, the accused pointed a handgun at the victim. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported."

How many 55 year olds are "acquaintances" with 30 year olds....there is MUCH MORE to this story!

There's some details missing from this tail, was Wilkins on his own property ? Was Wilkins threaten in any manner ? Did the other person have a weapon of any kind ? If Wilkins had never pointed the weapon we wouldn't be hearing about this. The gender thang isn't a issue Joe :-)
