Woodbridge Burglaries: Laptops, Handgun, Game System Stolen
Prince William County Police report three incidents over the weekend.
Prince William County Police responded to three burglaries in the Woodbridge area recently, according to spokesman Jonathan Perok.
Officers responded Saturday night to a commercial building in the 12600 block of Lake Ridge Drive due to an alarm. They arrived to find that a rear window had been broken and a door was unsecured, according to Perok.
No suspects were located and a laptop valued at $800 was reported missing.
Earlier that same night, officers responded to the 16900 block of Point Pleasant Lane in regards to a burglary. The homeowner told police that someone had forced their way into the home sometime between Friday night and 6 p.m. Saturday.
It's believed the unknown burglars entered the house through an unsecured door. Missing items included a handgun and a gaming console and games, valued at $640.
At 12:46 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 11800 block of Antietam Drive due to a burglary call. The incident likely took place between six hours on Friday night.
The burglars appeared to have entered through a basement window found open. A laptop valued at $1,000 was reported missing.
