Three Men Invade, Rob Dumfries Home
The men knocked at the door and then forced their way inside.
Three men—two of whom were armed—forced their way into a Dumfries home, then stole cash and robbed the home, Prince William County Police said.
Police responded at 11:31 p.m. Dec. 15 to the home on Jergensen Drive to the report of a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported that he had heard a knock at the front door, opened it, and three men forced their way inside.
One of the men was armed with a knife; another had a handgun. The men searched the home and stole two firearms, two gaming consoles and other items valued about $2,000, in addition to an undisclosed amount of money.
Police are looking for three men, each described as about 23-28 years old, black, about six feet tall, 180 pounds, with thin builds.
