Stafford Man Charged With Rape, Burglary in Dale City

The accused was charged with rape, sodomy, object sexual penetration and burglary.

 

A 32-year-old Stafford man has been charged with rape, sodomy, object sexual penetration and burglary after a 30-year-old Dale City woman was reportedly sexually assaulted by a known acquaintance the night of June 22, police spokesperson Ericca Figueroa said. 

The man reportedly forced his way into the victim's home, undeterred by the locked front door. Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau began investigating on June 23 at 5:43 a.m., and the accused was arrested after the investigation. He is being held without bond. His court date is unavailable. 

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for her non-life-threatening injuries.

If he came through a locked door to get in for any reason (without permission, hence the Locked door), i don't know how much defense he has.
