Police: Unknown Teen Shot Security Light at Fred Lynn Middle School

No students were at the school at the time.

Police are looking for the teen who reportedly shot out a security light at Fred Lynn Middle School on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, Prince William County police spokesperson Dennis Jensen said.

A witness told police the morning of Jan. 9 that he saw a group of teen males standing on the school steps between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Jan. 8.

"He saw a young male fire what appeared to be a handgun at Fred Lynn Middle School," Jensen said. "Police searched the school and located a security light that appears to have been shot out, valued at around $500."

No one was at the school at the time, and no one was injured. Police are looking for three young males of an unknown race, all estimated to be between 12 and 18 years old.

No joking around the Police need to check out the River Oaks area. Between 8 am and 8:30 am that same morning fixing my sons breakfast before they went to school I heard 3 gun shots.

Seems to me those delinquents traveled over to that school later that morning I guess testing out their dangerous toy.
