Police: Suspicious Person Offered 10-Year-Old Girl a Ride
Police are looking for a white male, in his mid 30's, with short brown hair, who was last seen wearing a black skull hat and glasses.
A 10-year-old girl reported that an unknown man approached her and offered her a ride, Prince William County Police said.
The 10-year-old told police that on Sunday afternoon an unknown man approached her near the area of Walnut Street and Cottonwood Court in Woodbridge.
"The man stopped the vehicle and asked the girl if she needed a ride. The girl refused and back away from the vehicle which drove off. The man never exited the vehicle," police wrote on their Facebook page Tuesday evening.
The incident was reported Monday at 9:25 a.m., police said.
Police are on the lookout for a white male in his mid-30s, with short brown hair. He was driving a bright blue minivan with a red "X" drawn on a piece of paper that was displayed in the vehicle window.
