Final Salute
Prince William County Police officers salute the late Officer Chris Yung for the last time at his funeral on Friday morning. Yung was driving through a green light with his lights and sirens on, authorities said, when a woman on Nokesville Road made a left turn and crashed into his motorcycle, authorities said. He passed away shortly afterwards at a local hospital—the third officer from the Prince William County Police Department to die in the line of duty.

Chris, you will always be missed but never ever forgotten brother, make us proud up there next to GOD just like you did down here next to us. GOD also recruits a FEW GOOD MEN to guard the entrance of heaven, GOD bless and best of luck in your new job as a GOD's motor unit angel. Best wishes from Hector and family

I only met him and his wife for a day as they volunteered for Santa Cop. They were both very kind. My son was able to check out the engine on the police car and check out the lights. It is an experience we will never forget and a memory forever captured! Thank you for your service and may God bless all those you touched!
