Occoquan Craft Show Draws Thousands
Visitors flocked to the small town to browse local and handmade wares.
Last weekend, the streets of Occoquan were full as shoppers poured into the small riverfront town to browse the many booths full of local and handmade art, crafts, and jewelry during the Occoquan Spring Arts and Crafts Show.
The Occoquan Craft Show has been running for 43 years now, and will return in the fall. There were about 250 merchant and food booths on the streets this year. Last year, over 10,000 people attended the spring show. Patch contributor Stephanie Dupal-Demartin took video, interviewing various merchants at the show.

It is getting smaller and smaller each year. Maybe the economy but I noticed that many of the artisans that I use to look forward to seeing are no longer there. What/who are the guys in the strange uniforms?
