A Dale City man was arrested Monday on drug charges in what police said was a continuation of a narcotics investigation by the Prince William County Police Street Crimes Unit.

David Mahmood Adel, 24, of 12975 Queen Chapel Dr., was charged with two counts of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.

Detectives searched Adel's home and a home at 5371 Tortoise Pl. and said they found marijuana, a handgun and cash.

Adel is scheduled to appear in court on April 13. His bond information was not released.
