U.S. Senate candidate George Allen will speak to supporters at a breakfast Saturday morning at VFW Post 1503 in Dale City.

Allen, a former Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator, is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination to the Senate seat being vacated by Jim Webb, who defeated Allen's Senate re-election bid in 2006.

In November, Allen got the endorsement of Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart, who had formerly been critical of Allen's Senate record.

On January 6, the Prince William County Tea Party announced their endorsement of Jamie Radtke, calling Allen "one of the biggest supporters of liberal government programs."

Last week, Virginia Del. Bob Marshall announced that he would challenge Allen for the Republican nomination.

Saturday's "Veterans for Allen" breakfast will begin at 10:30 a.m.
