Police: Armed Men Burglarize Dumfries Home
Police are looking for the two men, who struck the homeowner in the face and stole a laptop.
Two armed men burglarized a Dumfries home while several people were inside, assaulting the homeowner in the face before they left, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
The masked men entered through an unlocked front door at the home on the 3400 block of Belleplain Court in Dumfries, sometime around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. The men demanded money from the homeowner and several other occupants. One of the men struck the homeowner across the face, causing minor injuries. Prince William County Police said that the two men stole a backpack that contained a laptop and other items.
Police do not believe it was a random incident.
The two men were both described as wearing masks, 16-20 years old, black, about 5 feet 7 inches, with medium builds. One of the men was wearing a red jacket.

I appreciate your posts. Will they continue after the News and Messenger ceases print 1 Jan? Is the Patch separate entity? Hope so! Keep it up & Merry Christmas!
